Noah Lewis
The creator of this website gratefully acknowledges Noah Lewis for his generous permission to include information and educational materials related to his work portraying Revolutionary War patriot Edward “Ned” Hector.
Mr. Lewis is a living historian, author, educator, and biology graduate who has dedicated many years to researching and presenting the story of Edward Hector, a Black Continental soldier who fought in the Revolutionary War. Through presentations at schools, historical sites, and community events, he has helped audiences better understand the contributions of African Americans to the founding of the United States.
